The uniform list is the result of consultation with parents, students and staff and is approved by the Governors. To be effective, the active support of everyone is required. Smart students tend to take a pride in themselves and their work. Parents should name each item of clothing. Students are encouraged to take care of their clothes at school.

Sackville has its own shop which supplies most items of uniform and is the sole supplier of items with the logo and coloured stripes for Physical Education. All new entrants to the college are expected to wear this uniform. The uniform shop is open on Thursdays from 2.30 to 4.30pm and Saturdays from 10.00am to 12 noon. Some uniform can be bought from other outlets but parents are advised to check that colours and styles are of the same specification as those in the uniform shop.

• Navy skirt, pleated and of sensible length, or navy pleated full length trousers
• Light blue blouse with collar
• Navy long-sleeved v-neck sweatshirt with school logo
• White or navy socks or navy tights
• Sensible, black, flat or low heeled footwear
• Coat or jacket (preferably in a plain dark colour)
• School Fleece (optional)

• Dark grey, full length trousers

Year 11: Girls

• Black straight skirt - fixed waistband-non hipster with a back vent of no more than 5 inches and sensible length OR black, fixed waistband non hipster, bootleg trousers. No jeans or tight lycra material, no skinny style.
• White, fitted or loose style shirt with long or three-quarter length sleeves.
• V-neck or crew neck school sweatshirt with school logo. Cardigans will not be acceptable.
• Please ensure that there is no gap between the top of the skirt/trouser and the bottom of the shirt.

• Black full length trousers.
• White shirt with collar.
• Black school sweatshirt with school logo.
• Black shoes. No boots or trainers.
